How I left my full-time job and became a full-time coach
Last Friday, I gave my two weeks notice to leave my full-time job.
It was just over a year (a year + 2 days to be exact) that I started the process to enrol at the Life Coach School and get my life coaching certification.
Fast forward to the present:
I am a full-time coach.
It took 367 days.
When I read my emails to my dad last year when I was telling him about it, I can’t help but tear up with love and gratitude for my Past Self.
She was so willing to take a chance on me.
She had no right or evidence or reason to believe that I could do it, but she did it anyways.
And because of that, she allowed her fear to be there, but not to stop her,
She harnessed her passion and motivation,
She coached non-stop all year,
She did things that TERRIFIED her that she had no idea how to do,
And she moved forward bravely to bring me here.
Because of that, I’ve never felt more fulfilled, alive or aligned with myself.
This has all made me even more certain that the work I am doing is so important.
Dreams don’t come true; We MAKE them come true:
By claiming our belief in ourselves,
By crafting a new identity that serves us,
By creating the energy, resilience and love for ourselves to go after them.
I did that for me because I love me,
And I want to show you how to do that too,
Because you deserve it,
Because there is nothing more important than allowing yourself
To admit to yourself what it is you truly want,
To go after it,
To live up to your potential,
And to show yourself what you are capable of and that you’re worth it.
You are capable of so much more than you even know.
And until you believe that, I am here believing in you.
When you’re ready to step into the magic and possibility of what you can create what the amazing gift that is your life, I'll be here.
Past Alana: Thank you for everything.
And Future Alana: I am 100000% going to pay it forward, and you're also going to get to experience this same magic in possibility I feel right now.
